Milla Jovovich is claiming Summit Entertainment didn’t adequately promote her new action-adventure film ‘The Three Musketeers’ in the U.S., according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actress publicly called out the distribution company on October 21, the day the movie hit theaters in America, via Twitter. She said “Are ‘Summit’ promoting it as a family adventure movie? Or are they resting on their laurels from ‘Twilight’ and making no effort? Let me know!”
Jovovich tweeted her discontent as she was flying to Tokyo to attend the Tokyo International Film Festival, where ‘The Three Musketeers’ was serving as the opening movie. She added “I think ‘Summit’ have swept ‘The Three Musketeers, a great family adventure film, under the rug in the U.S. Shame on them. Shame on you ‘Summit.’”
