Let Me In Director Matt Reeves to Helm Twilight Zone Movie | Shockya.com

Warner Bros. has hired ‘Let Me In’ director Matt Reeves to direct the upcoming ‘Twilight Zone’ movie, which was penned by Jason Rothenberg and is based on the Rod Serling television series of the same name, Deadline is reporting. Final negotiations are expected to be completed early this week, and production on the film is expected to begin during summer 2012.

‘The Twilight Zone,’ which was coveted by such directors as Christopher Nolan and Michael Bay, will be produced by Appian Way partners Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, as well as Michael Ireland. The sci-fi action thriller will be different than the series, as it will be a single freestanding story. It will also differ from the 1983 film, which was an anthology comprised of several segments from different directors. But the new movie will feature the same eerie feeling included in the television series.
