Members of the clergy are expected to show their support for the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters by joining them in Lower Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park, NY1 News is reporting. Demonstrators have scheduled a large demonstration for Columbus Day, right after they held a peaceful march to Washington Square Park.
New York police have said they made no arrests during the Washington Square protest, unlike the hundreds of arrests they made during the protests in late September. Demonstrators are saying that they’re staying with the protest to keep sharing their message.
