Reality Star Lauren "LC" Conrad Leaving The Hills (The TV Show, That Is)

MTV’s hit show The Hills will no longer be featuring the drama of breakout star Lauren Conrad, at least not after the fifth season. Liz Gately, one of the producers of the show, and confirmed that after the season premiere on March 30, Conrad will no longer be on the show.
Gately said that Conrad, who is pursuing a fashion career, wants to lead a more private life, and move onto the next stage in her life. The producer, who plans to give Conrad a big send-off, is currently deciding how to proceed with the show after Conrad leaves.
The Hills was originally conceived to showcase Conrad’s life, including relationship, friendship and career struggles after she left high school, when she was on the hit reality show Laguna Beach.
