Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell Calls Off Whirl-wind Engagement

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell’s personal life has made headlines yet again: Britain’s The Sun is reporting that she has broken off her engagement to Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi, because she said she realized she “isn’t the marrying type.”
The report is also saying that the singer loved being in a relationship, but decided that her daughter Bluebell Madonna was the only person that truly makes her happy. Her friends are not surprised, the tabloid also states, as she has a track record of having multiple short-term relationships.
Though the couple was only engaged for less than three months, and Politi proposed a mere two weeks after they met in December at a Florence nightclub, he is reportedly upset over the break-up, but respects Halliwell’s decision. The report comes after Halliwell publicly proclaimed Politi is “the one” and introduced him to Bluebell.
