Travolta family grieving, moving on from loss of son Jett last month

The Travolta family has been staying out of the spotlight while trying to cope with the loss of their 16-year-old son Jett from a seizure on January 2 in their Bahamian vacation home, PEOPLE magazine is reporting. "The family is doing their best to get through the pain and sadness," the publication also stated.
The magazine is also reporting that the Travoltas are "regrouping and pushing through the grieving process." John, Kelly and eight-year-old daughter Ella are "trying to...return to some sort of normalcy." But the family is finding it hard to be normal without Jett.
What makes the loss even more painful is the on-going criminal case into the alleged extortion plot. Prosecutors are claiming that a Bahamian politician and paramedic were trying to extort $25 million from the Travoltas, and said if they didn't receive the money, they were going to release the details, and possibly a photo, of Jett's death.
PEOPLE is also saying that while the Travoltas are upset by the extortion attempt, "...things have calmed down. Every day it gets better."
