Sandra Bullock Not Attending U.K. Premiere Due to Husband’s Alleged Affair
Sandra Bullock has pulled out of the U.K. premiere for her Oscar-winning movie ‘The Blind Side,’ scheduled for March 23, because In Touch Weekly is reporting her husband Jesse James had an 11-month affair. Tattoo model Michelle McGee is claiming that she had a relationship with the owner of West Coast Choppers while his wife was filming the movie that finally earned her a best actress Academy Award.
In response to the allegations and Bullock pulling out of the movie’s press events, Warner Bros. stated that the premiere, which was scheduled to take place in London, has been canceled. “Because (Sandra) isn’t coming any more, there isn’t going to be an actual premiere. She isn’t coming over, no,” the film company said, also adding that they weren’t given an official reason why she pulled out. The company also declined to comment on the alleged affair.
McGee told In Touch that in April of last year, when she was looking for a modeling job with West Coast Choppers, James contacted her, but not for business reasons. During the interview with the magazine, McGee also said that when she asked James about his wife, he told her that Bullock has a house in Austin, implying they weren’t together anymore. McGee also said that they had sex three times the first night they were together.
The allegations also come after Bullock took her stepchildren, Chandler and Sunny, who James had during his previous marriage, out shopping the day after her Oscar win. Bullock has grown close to them since her wedding nearly five years ago.
